Corey also has opened up for One Direction's Niall Horan’s Flicker Tour and Julia Michael’s west coast dates in 2019. The Leaks, Covers and Mixtapes tour kicks off on May 29 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, followed by more stops throughout California, the Pacific Northwest, Chicago, Boston and Brooklyn. Bieber invited Harper to join after seeing him perform at Winston House, which is co-founded by Matt Graham, who eventually became one of Coreys’ current managers. Harper was eventually hand picked by mega pop star, Justin Bieber, to open up for his "Purpose" Tour back in 2016 for the Pacific Northwest tour dates. Harper was initially discovered while playing guitar for pop sensation Cody Simpson back in 2015. At 19 years old, he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue music and settled in Venice Beach. He briefly studied music and literature history in Eugene, Oregon before dropping out of college. A self taught artist, Harper learned to play by ear and by watching and mimicking videos of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eric Clapton. King and Stevie Ray Vaughan as major influences on his voice, guitar playing, songwriting, and overall passion for music. Harper cites Ben Howard, John Mayer, Bob Dylan, B.B. He was very influenced by his uncle and father. Corey began playing the guitar at a very early age when he came across a Fender Stratocaster at his uncle’s house in Kansas City. Harper was born in Portland, Oregon to Brad and Robin Harper.
